OUR PROGRAM

 

At Miss Ann's Kiddie Korner and Nursery, we use a play-based curriculum.  The children are encouraged to learn while playing.  We use wooden blocks, legos, dramatic play costumes, dolls, animals, barns, cars, food, along with many, many other items.  

 

We allow their imaginations to take over as they learn gravity, cause and effect, science, math, colors, numbers, counting, ... more than we can list!  Children are cheered for building a tower as tall as they can, and we allow them to make it fall...how else are they going to learn that what goes up, must come down?  Or, just because a tower falls down, doesn't mean it can't be rebuilt.  

 

The children learn the importance of sharing, dancing, singing, clapping, coloring...all while having a blast!  And you better believe we are right there with them...because we are all just kids at heart!
