ABOUT
Miss Ann's Kiddie Korner and Nursery are a Certified Child Care Center and a Certified Family Center located in Riddle, Oregon. I, Anne-Marie Holloway, Owner and Director began my childcare career at the young age of 13.

Children have always helped to bring joy to my day! They smile for the smalles, silliest reasons and don't care what the world thinks or says about them. They live to be happy. I love to spend my days culitivating those young minds. Allowing them to be young as long as possible.
At Miss Ann's Kiddie Korner Nursery, we accept children ages 6 weeks to 3 years. Children spend their days building with blocks, listening to story time, coloring, learing to use scissors, letter sounds, how to use manners, and much, much more! As the children turn 3, they move to the Center, where they continue to learn about the ins and outs of school. At the Center, children get into more complex learning in order to help them get ready for Kindergarten. They learn about the days of the week, the calendar, shapes, how to write their letters, names and more.

Children also learn how to successfully intereact with other children their age. They learn problem solving skills and how to be on a stricter time schedule.
Child Safety
The children's safety is very important to all of the staff and parents at Miss Ann's Kiddie Korner. We take special precautions throughout our day to ensure their safety.
In case a child does obtain an injury, we will check that the child/children involved are ok. If the child is upset, we will text a parent to let them know that their child got an ochie, and we will fill out an "Ouchie Report" so that you know each and every bump or scrape they have. We will ask that you sign the form acknowledging that you are aware that they got an ouchie.
Kids are kids. It is very unlikely that a child will make it to adulthood without falling or scraping a knee, however, we will take the time to ensure that it is handled in a caring manner.

​Our Staff

The staff members at Miss Ann's Kiddie Korner are hand-picked by myself and the other long standing members. Staff members are aware that, above all else, the children come first.
All staff members follow the State Licensing rules regarding certifications. Everyone is up to date on Child and Adult CPR and First Aid, Oregon Food Handlers and they take classes throughout the year to continue their education.
We all strive to treat each other with respect.
